ABOUT PROCESS

At Ceylonese Green, we pride ourselves on our pure and natural extraction process. Our oil is extracted from mature coconuts grown on our own plantations in Sri Lanka, and we use a chemical-free process to ensure that the oil is of the highest quality. We do not use heat, chemical additives, or preservatives in our extraction process, so you can be sure that you are getting a product that is pure and natural. OUR PROCESS

COCONUT PURCHASE AND SORTING
We only select the highest quality mature coconuts from our own plantations in Sri Lanka, and we sort them carefully to ensure that only the best coconuts are used for our oil.

DEHUSKING
After selecting only the finest coconuts from our plantations in Sri Lanka, we remove the outer husk and shell, leaving only pure and fresh coconut meat.

DESHELLING
Coconut deshelling is the process of removing the hard outer shell to access the delicious, nutritious coconut inside.

WASHING
We wash our coconut meat thoroughly before extraction, using only clean and filtered water. This ensures that our oil is free from any contaminants or impurities and that you receive a pure product.

GRINDING
Grinding coconut for oil extraction requires breaking down coconut flesh into smaller pieces. This process releases the oil, which can then be separated from the coconut residue.
DEHYDRATOR
After grinding, we allow the coconut meat to dry with our gas operated dehydrator. This process allows the reduction of moisture of the desiccated coconut. When it reaches optimal condition of moisture, we go to the next stage ensuring the oil is of the highest quality and purity.

EXPELLER
Our state-of-the-art centrifuge machines use high-speed rotation to separate the oil from contamination and sludge without the use of heat or chemical additives.

Our fine filtering process removes any remaining impurities or particles, resulting in a clear and pure oil that retains the natural flavor and aroma of the coconut.

FILTER
We use state-of-the-art equipment and skilled operators to carefully cut our coconut meat into small pieces, allowing maximum oil extraction and ensuring that every drop of oil is pure and natural.
